Currently, he is European Product Manager and European Product Team Leader with Eisai Europe Ltd., London, and responsible for the European epilepsy franchise. Prior to this, Dr. Kamleiter was Product Manager with the company’s German affiliate, launching Eisai’s first epilepsy product in Germany and Austria, thus paving the way into a new market segment. Sean has 25 years marketing experience as creative director and strategic planner for advertising agencies including BBDO and The Lowe Group in both the US and Europe. Although he has worked on hundreds of medical assignments over that time, Sean’s training was with consumer brands. With this outsider perspective, Sean explores how non-traditional marketing strategies and tactics could benefit pharma brands. A regular speaker on international brand development, Sean lectures frequently to international business groups. Paul held different positions in national and international marketing departments; was responsible for the oncology portfolio of former Aventis as a Marketing Director in Germany for several years. There he successfully developed several brands from launch to standard of care and market leadership in many indications.
